Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a Clinic Support Associate for immediate, long-term employment in New York. You will handle front desk duties, assist clinicians with patient care, and help manage patient flow to ensure a welcoming experience for every patient.

The role emphasizes hands-on contribution in a fast-growing field, with opportunities to learn and grow with an expert team. Monday-Thursday 11:30am-8pm, Friday 8am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of medical office experience preferred, familiarity with EMR systems a plus.
• One year of customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Suite is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, check in patients, and direct inquiries.
• Provide high level customer service, optimize provider time, and maximize treatment room usage.
• Manage scheduling operations with a focus on growth and provider availability.
• Notify clinicians of arrivals and monitor service delivery against the schedule.
• Process incoming faxes and perform data entry into the EMR system.
• Assist patients during therapy with equipment and routine guidance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
