Fraser in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator – Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients seeking Fraser clinical services. You will greet and check in clients, handle scheduling, verify insurance, maintain records, and collaborate with clinicians to determine appropriate Fraser services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BA/BS in sociology, psychology or related field preferred.
• Minimum one year of related experience (intake, scheduling, health care, insurance and customer service).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and telephone support in a timely, professional, and courteous manner to ensure the client has a positive experience.
• Greet and check-in all clients and visitors; answer routine inquiries, collect co-pays, obtain signatures.
• Verify client insurance eligibility and provide scheduling opportunities during visits or calls.
• Maintain accuracy of client records including insurance, demographics, scheduling, and referrals.
• Collaborate with clinicians to complete enrollment and determine Fraser services for each client.
