Job summary

Big Sky Resort in Montana is seeking a Night Auditor to serve as the overnight ambassador, handling guest check-ins/outs and ensuring accurate end-of-day operations across resort properties.

You will work 11:00pm–7:00am, provide warm service to guests arriving late, reconcile nightly transactions, and coordinate with other overnight departments to maintain security and smooth operations while the resort sleeps.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Positive attitude and strong desire to learn.
• Hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Available for overnight shifts, typically 11:00pm – 7:00am.
• Ability to lift, push or pull at least 35 pounds.
• Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
• Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per shift.

• Process credit card and cash transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with Security and other overnight departments as needed.
• Stay informed on all resort activities, dining options, and amenities to assist guests at any hour.
• Collaborate with Bell, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams to fulfill guest requests.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming front desk presence while standing for extended periods.
• Protect guest privacy and respond appropriately to unusual activity or behavior.

Overview

Our Night Auditors are the overnight ambassadors of Big Sky Resort, responsible for ensuring seamless guest service and accurate end-of-day operations. You’ll be the go-to contact for guests arriving late, departing early, or needing assistance throughout the night. In this role, you’ll gain a deep understanding of our lodging offerings and play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly while most of the resort sleeps.

This position supports front desk operations at the Summit Hotel, Village Center, and Huntley/Shoshone Lodge.
