Job summary

Big Sky Resort is seeking a Public Area Attendant to keep our guest spaces pristine. You'll vacuum lobbies, spot-clean windows, tidy restrooms, and handle deep cleans, contributing to a welcoming guest experience.

This physically active role requires stamina and a strong work ethic; you’ll work across indoor and outdoor spaces in varied weather, with thorough training and leadership support, helping Big Sky Resort shine.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
  • Friendly demeanor and clear communication with guests.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Dependable, punctual and maintains a professional appearance.
  • Able to lift, push, or pull at least 35 pounds.
  • Able to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
  • Comfortable climbing stairs multiple times per shift.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all public spaces.
  • Vacuum, dust, mop, clean windows, and remove trash.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and guest-ready.
  • Provide warm and helpful interactions with guests.
  • Report maintenance needs or safety concerns to your manager.
  • Assist with seasonal deep cleaning and special projects.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions.

You’ll work across a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces and often operate independently, making a strong work ethic and self-motivation essential. This is a physically active role that requires adaptability, quick thinking, and a high standard of guest service. Responsibilities

As a Public Area Attendant, you will:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public spaces throughout resort buildings
  • Perform cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, window cleaning, and trash removal
  • Ensure public restrooms are clean, stocked, and guest-ready at all times
  • Provide warm and helpful interactions when engaging with guests
  • Report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or missing items to your manager promptly
  • Assist with seasonal deep cleaning and special projects as assignedKeep workspaces and cleaning equipment in good condition
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions
