The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme is seeking a friendly front desk operator to welcome members and guests, ensure safety, and maintain a positive, cooperative environment.

The role involves managing the front desk, tracking memberships, assisting with program information, handling payments, and supporting daily operations with a focus on youth development and community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED or currently enrolled in school with work permit (if minor).
• Experience working with children and youth development knowledge.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior.
• Ability to deal with the general public and provide quality programs.
• Ability to organize and supervise youth in a safe environment.
• CPR and First Aid certifications (can obtain through Club).
• Valid State Driver's License (recommended).

Responsabilités

• Operate and manage the Clubhouse front desk.
• Maintain the safety, security and appearance of the front desk.
• Greet, monitor and track all visitors.
• Supervise all equipment checkout and return.
• Answer all phone calls.
• Communicate upcoming events and activities to members and the public.
• Maintain supplies for facility and front desk.
• Recognize volunteers for their daily assistance.
• Track membership data and assist with grant reporting.
• Handle payments and currency following proper protocols.
