Job summary

Excel Fitness in Havelock, NC is seeking a Team Member to help deliver quality member service and keep the club clean and welcoming. You'll perform daily tasks, assist members, and uphold Excel standards during shifts.

Responsibilities include audits, cash handling, updating member records on tablets and POS, promoting memberships, and supporting club promotions and events. The role requires 18+, HS diploma, CPR/AED before solo work, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/AED certification required before working alone.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and staff.
• Must be team-oriented, motivated and well-organized.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems proactively.
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform to best abilities during assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Operate Planet Fitness app and stay updated with content.
• Complete training to operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct audits to ensure Excel standards are met.
• Perform club walkarounds and complete cleaning tasks.
• Audit cash drawers daily and balance accurately.
• Input and update member information into tablets and POS.
• Ensure members adhere to policies and guidelines.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for members.
• Communicate with members and deliver high-level service.
• Stock retail and janitorial items for the shift.
• Understand and adhere to company standards and resolve issues.
