Job summary

French Creek YMCA is seeking a friendly Member Service Representative to manage front-desk interactions, process memberships, and support sales and program enrollments. The role emphasizes data entry, payment processing, and delivering excellent member service in a welcoming YMCA environment.

The position requires cash handling experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a membership-driven setting. CPR/First Aid certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and phone etiquette required.
• Experience with data entry and basic computer skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests; respond to inquiries and forward messages per guidelines.
• Process payments and maintain balanced cash drawer.
• Maintain accurate member records and data in DAXKO system.
• Provide tours to prospective members and promote memberships.
• Support membership sales and retention efforts.
