Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee front desk operations, reservation software, and check-in/check-out procedures
  • Manage and train front desk staff to provide excellent customer service
  • Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure efficiency during busy times
  • Greet guests with a friendly and professional welcome
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests quickly and effectively
  • Follow up with guests to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction
  • Manage room reservations and update property management system accurately
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and others for seamless guest experiences
  • Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
  • Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
  • Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications & Training
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Required: Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Required: Experience in hospitality or recreational field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, must be a self-starter
  • Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
  • Be or become a registered member of Scouting America
Performance Results
  • Achieves high guest satisfaction through positive feedback and surveys
  • Events run smoothly and issues are resolved within an hour
  • Communicates positively with guests and staff to support successful event operations
Physical Requirements
  • Up to 8 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements
