Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Oversee front desk operations, reservation software, and check-in/check-out procedures.
2. Manage and train front desk staff to provide excellent customer service.
3. Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure efficiency during busy times.
4. Greet guests with a friendly and professional welcome.
5. Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests quickly and effectively.
6. Follow up with guests to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
7. Manage room reservations and update property management system accurately.
8. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and others for seamless guest experiences.
9. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
10. Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in hospitality or recreational field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills; self-starter mentality.
• Ability to use Microsoft Teams for communication and coordination.
• Become a registered member of Scouting America.

Physical and Other Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, hike for up to 8 hours and lift 50 lbs.
• Pass the physical exam and meet height/weight requirements.
• Uniform: Summit staff uniform.
• Housing: 10x12' Platform Tent at Foxtrot Base Camp.
• Expected weekly hours: 45-55.
• Salary: $1750 - $1850 per month.
