Job summary

The Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel in Bloomington, MN, seeks a hands-on Front Office Manager to lead the Front Desk team and drive exceptional guest experiences. You’ll coach associates, balance service with operational excellence, and own daily front office execution from arrival to departure, including guest satisfaction and room inventory.

Flexibility is required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs, with a competitive salary of $64,000–$67,000 annually

Qualifications

• Previous hotel Front Office or Guest Services leadership experience.
• 2–3+ years of progressive hotel operations experience, including supervisory roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Strong guest-service instincts and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with hotel property-management and reservation systems.
• Ability to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the Front Desk ensuring consistent service standards.
• Recruit, train, coach, develop, and motivate Front Office staff.
• Be highly visible on the floor, especially during peak arrival/departure periods.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement action plans to improve the overall guest experience.
• Maintain accurate room inventory and communicate with Housekeeping.
• Collaborate with Engineering, F&B, Sales to resolve operational challenges.
• Manage Front Office scheduling and staffing based on occupancy and business demand.
• Oversee cash handling, billing, and security procedures.
