Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, Texas is seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide attentive, courteous service during check-in and check-out while maximizing room revenue. You will be the first point of contact, setting the tone for guests’ stays.

The role requires computer experience and a willingness to help guests, with college hotel management courses helpful and prior hospitality experience a plus. The pay rate is $14 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• College courses in hotel/motel management are helpful.
• Previous hospitality or related experience helpful.
• Computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Ensure that all guests are checked in/out in a friendly, efficient, courteous and confidential manner based on resort standards.
• Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in accordance with Kalahari Resort standards.
• Perform and complete all tasks and duties on the shift checklist in a timely and efficient manner.
• Fully comprehend and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system, copiers, fax machines and other office equipment.
