Job summary

SafeSplash Cedar Park is seeking a Front Desk Lead to greet guests, manage memberships, and coordinate class scheduling with a friendly, professional demeanor.

You will also assist with retail sales, process payments, and coordinate donations, events, and communications to keep the lobby vibrant and welcoming. Social media duties and donor activities complement daily front-desk responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and hospitality.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: childcare or education experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and visitors and direct them appropriately.
• Maintain client accounts, record information, process payments, and schedule classes and appointments.
• Assist clients with retail merchandise and manage retail sales.
• Prepare and track donations to non-profit organizations.
• Co-manage social media by sharing swimmer milestones and events.
• Schedule and promote special events and keep client communications updated in lobby areas.

What will you do as a Front Desk Lead?

• Assist clients and visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
• Maintains client accounts by recording accurate and up-to-date information, take client payment when necessary; scheduling classes and appointments
• Assists clients with retail merchandise; is knowledgeable of all retail products and information; manages retail sales
• Prepares and tracks donations to non-profit organizations
• Co-manages social media account by sharing swimmer milestone and upcoming events.
• Schedules, promotes and participates in special events, and keeps all client communications updated, and visibly posted in public areas of lobby.

What are we looking for in a Front Desk Associate?

• Happy and professional disposition; hospitable and caring
• Exceptional customer service focus: deliver quality experience, can handle pressure of customer escalations
• Experience using spreadsheets and word processing software such as Microsoft Suite
• Dependable and flexible schedule: will be required to work some evenings and weekends
• Preferred qualifications:
  • Swim Lesson and/or competitive swimming experience: knowledge of the four basic strokes, teaching curriculum, and stroke progression
  • Customer Service experience
  • Experience working in childcare or education
  • Experience in leadership or training a plus
  • CPR & First Aid Certified or willing to certify within 60 days of hire

Expected Hours: Up to 36 Hours
Pay: $17/hr+ depending on experience and qualifications
