SafeSplash Cedar Park in Texas is seeking a Senior Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills using the Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, supportive environment for children of all ages.

Ideal candidates have swim-instruction experience and knowledge of the four strokes; WSI and CPR/First Aid credentials are highly valued. Up to 36 hours per week with pay starting at $16/hr, with higher rates based on experience. We provide opportunities for advancement.

Qualificações

• Experience in swim instruction with knowledge of all four strokes.
• Childcare or teaching experience is a plus.
• WSI certification preferred.
• CPO knowledge preferred.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid preferred; we will help certify within 60 days of hire.
• Experience teaching swimmers aged 6 months to 10 years and with Special Needs is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Teach swimming skills per Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide training to new hires and supervise curriculum usage.
• Provide continuous, positive feedback to students and customers on swimming efforts.
• Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and new skills introduction.
• Ensure swimmer safety.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a senior swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide training to new hires and monitor proper use of the curriculum
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety
  

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction and proper knowledge of all four strokes.
• Childcare or teaching experience a plus
• WSI certification preferred
• CPO knowledge preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.

Expected hours: Up to 36 Hours
Pay: $16/hr+ depending on experience and qualifications
