Job summary

The Church World Service in Houston seeks a Reception Intake and Program Assistant to welcome clients at the front desk, provide initial information, and refer refugees and asylum seekers to relevant services.

You will complete intake paperwork, screen clients for eligible programs, coordinate with immigration and case management teams, and assist with data entry and monthly reporting while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2 years of customer service experience.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist individuals at the reception, managing the front desk.
• Screen potential clients and complete intake paperwork.
• Coordinate referrals, appointments, and services with internal teams.
• Maintain client services logs and assist with reporting.
• Ensure confidentiality and program compliance.
