Job summary

The Navy Inn in Fallon, NV, operated by NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM), is seeking a Full Time Guest Services Representative to greet guests, handle reservations, check-in/check-out, and provide information on local attractions. You will use the Property Management System, answer phones, manage keys, and coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.

A one-year history in office or customer service and a background check are expected; military lodging experience

Qualifications

• One year of general office clerical experience and one year of specialized progressive responsible experience related to the position.
• Knowledge of computer systems.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and answer questions concerning the lodging facility, amenities and local attractions.
• Assist with requests from guests in person or over the phone, including reservations, check-in/check-out, room assignments, and payments.
• Operate a multi-line telephone system, take and deliver messages.
• Inventory of all keys and supplies at the front desk and log key usage.
• Keep the front desk and lobby area clean and log reports from the PMS.
