Job summary

DoubleTree Las Vegas East Flamingo, Paradise, NV, is seeking a Front Desk / Guest Service representative at $17.00 per hour to welcome guests and ensure a smooth check-in experience.

You will handle guest requests, maintain records, operate front desk software, and follow brand standards. Flexible shifts are available, with growth in a friendly, professional environment that offers health insurance, sick and vacation time, and 401k matching.

• Flexible shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean and safe environment for guests.
• Pleasant communication skills; know how to de-escalate situation when arise.
• Check in guests in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Will be trained to clean rooms if needed.
• Assures that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged and guest issues
• Follows brand standards
• Keep records of room availability and guest accounts. Operates front desk software
• Maintain a balanced cash/billing drawer
• Welcome guests and respond to requests in a prompt and professional manner
• Know all safety and emergency procedures
• Knowledge of office software: PEP, KIPSU, OUTLOOK, ETC. recommended, but not required.
• We can work with you on scheduling if necessary
• Must be able to work flexible shifts
