Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts seeks a Front Desk Agent for Aloft Tampa Downtown in Tampa, FL. The role involves greeting guests, handling check-in/check-out, and providing information on local attractions and hours. You will input data into the computer system, manage payments, and assist with guest requests in a fast-paced environment.

Hotel experience is preferred. Strong communication, cash handling, and computer skills are essential to deliver a welcoming guest experience and resolve issues

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Ability to handle cash and balance a house bank.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to greet guests and provide information on hours and local attractions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome and assist with arrival and departure.
• Complete the registration process using the hotel computer system, confirming guest details and rates.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization; process payments and vouchers.
• Answer and route phone calls, retrieve mail and packages, and assist with guest requests.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and address any guest concerns or complaints; assist in problem resolution.
• Maintain calm and professional conduct during busy periods or emergencies; adhere to attendance rules.
