Job summary

Homewood Suites - St. Augustine/San Sebastian in Florida seeks a professional front desk associate to deliver courteous guest service, manage registrations, handle requests, and respond to inquiries with efficiency and hospitality.

You will promote hotel amenities, upsell services, balance cash and transactions, and maintain a welcoming lobby while coordinating with housekeeping, food service, and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in service, sales or guest relations preferred.
• Computer literate and able to operate property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests, provide room assignments, and maintain guest privacy.
• Promote and sell hotel services and amenities.
• Promote repeat business by taking future reservations and offering brand-type recommendations.
• Identify sales leads during guest interactions and report to management.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Balance cash, checks and related transactions at shift end.
• Learn and utilize the PMS for daily operations.
