Job summary

Stonebridge Companies is seeking a Guest Service Agent at the Residence Inn Needham in Needham, MA to ensure smooth check-in/check-out, maintain guest records, and deliver outstanding service at the front desk.

You will handle guest inquiries, payments, and reservations, coordinate with housekeeping, and assist with requests to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. Flexible shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel front desk or guest service role is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for interacting with guests and staff.
• Proficiency in using property management systems and basic office software (Word, Excel).
• Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests upon arrival.
• Verify guest credit and establish payment methods for accommodation.
• Keep accurate records of room availability and guest accounts using property management systems.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
• Post charges for rooms, food, beverages, and services to ledgers.
• Issue room keys and provide instructions to bell attendants.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest-reported issues.
• Make and confirm reservations for guests.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services and local dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
