Job summary

Brandt Hospitality Group is seeking a Guest Service Representative to be the first and last impression for guests at our Fargo location. This part-time role includes 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm shifts, handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, calls, and market transactions with a focus on hospitality excellence.

The ideal candidate thrives in a guest-centric environment, communicates effectively in English, and can manage cash and records accurately.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of front desk operations and procedures, guest services and hotel services.
• Able to use MS Office and brand operating systems (OPERA).
• Demonstrate genuine care for customers and employees.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a unique and personable way upon arrival.
• Book guest hotel reservations.
• Register guests, verify reservations and payment information.
• Answer calls and route messages with accuracy.
• Promote the brand loyalty program and benefits.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly and politely.
• Resolve guest complaints or escalate to management as needed.
• Handle cash drawer contents and transactions during shift.
• Maintain records including cash flows, registration cards and reservation cards.
• Process market and retail transactions for guests.
• Provide information on hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock as necessary.
