Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest details and room rate.
• Assist guests with check-out, ensure rooms and services are accurately accounted, process payments and exchange currency where needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of room categories, rates, packages and local area to answer guest questions.
• Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and maximize occupancy.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly manner.
• Field guest complaints, research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
• Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests.
