Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group's UNC Charlotte Marriott front desk team on the campus north of downtown Charlotte is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm. You will be the first smiling face guests see and set the tone for a memorable stay.

No prior experience is required, but strong English skills and cash handling abilities are essential. We offer a friendly environment with growth opportunities, perks on hotel discounts, and a chance to be part of a celebrated

Qualifications

Fluent in English (written and oral).
Strong cash handling and cash reconciliation abilities.
Experience in customer service or guest-facing roles preferred.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and multitasking capability.

Responsibilities

Greet and check in guests using manual and computerized methods to ensure satisfaction.
Facilitate check-out and close guest accounts; prepare room for next guest.
Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain hotel records per policy.
Answer inquiries and take reservations; use upselling techniques to boost occupancy.
Maintain customer relations with timely, knowledgeable responses in person and on the phone.
Operate PBX system to manage calls, wake-up services and guest paging.
Manage cash drawer and follow bank procedures to ensure accuracy.
Maintain a friendly, cheerful demeanor at all times.
