ASM Global is seeking a Front Desk Attendant for the Thayer Sports Center in Massachusetts. The role serves as the first point of contact, delivering excellent customer service and handling a range of administrative tasks.

You will greet visitors, provide facility information, manage event reservations, and assist with payments and records. The position requires flexibility for evenings and weekend shifts in a busy indoor/outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service or administrative roles preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Basic computer skills and learning new programs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information about the facility, events, and services offered.
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
• Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
• Manage scheduling and reservations for events and facility use.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities and transactions.
• Monitor the parking lot to ensure safety and security of the facility.
• Collect payments for events and activities and issue receipts.
• Verify attendance and ensure waivers are signed for events.
