Job summary

Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago is seeking a guest services associate to greet and register guests, upgrade rooms when possible, and promote hotel services according to Five Star standards.

You will handle checkout, assist with payments, answer inquiries by phone and email, and resolve guest challenges with calm, courteous service. Prior hospitality experience and strong English communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of prior guest service experience preferred.
• CPR certification and/or first aid training preferred.
• Additional language ability is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete registration by inputting and retrieving information from the computer system and assigning rooms.
• Promote Trump Hotels Marketing Programs and assist guests with room directions and upgrades.
• Assist guests with checkout payments, accept and record vouchers, and handle currency conversions.
• Respond to guest inquiries by phone or email and relay guest needs to appropriate staff.
• Address guest complaints with calm, effective problem solving and follow-up.
