Job summary

Stonebridge in Basking Ridge, NJ is seeking a part-time Guest Service Agent to manage check-in/out, maintain guest records, and deliver outstanding service at the front desk.

You will greet guests, verify payments, balance cash, and coordinate with housekeeping to resolve issues, while using the hotel's Property Management System.

Flexible schedule, good communication, and basic office software skills are important; prior hotel front desk experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel front desk or guest service role preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
• Proficiency with property management systems and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests upon arrival.
• Verify guest credit and establish payment methods for accommodation.
• Keep accurate records of room availability and guest accounts using PMS.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
• Balance cash accounts and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Issue room keys and provide instructions to bell attendants.
• Review accounts and charges with guests during checkout.
• Post charges for rooms, food, beverages, and services.
• Transmit and receive guest messages via telephone or switchboard.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address issues.
