HHM Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent in Deerfield Beach, FL to greet and assist guests, handle check-ins, and manage payments with accuracy using the PMS system.

The role emphasizes exceptional guest service, adherence to brand standards, and willingness to support operations during peak times. Prior guest-facing experience is valued, with opportunities for growth within the front desk team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.
• Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately and offer to assist with their needs.
• Register guests and assign them to hotel rooms.
• Establish methods of payment and verify credit.
• Make and confirm reservations for guests.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change as needed.
• Transmit and receive messages using the PMS system.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely manner.
• Receive and resolve guest complaints, escalating to supervisor if necessary.
• Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe when needed.
• Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and audits.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work to improve them.
• Practice safe work habits and follow safety standards.
• Assist in the breakfast area or with luggage during peak periods.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction and perform other duties as requested by management.
