Job summary

The SOMM Hotel & Spa in Woodinville, WA seeks a part-time Front Desk Agent to efficiently handle check-ins and check-outs, issue keys, and resolve guest requests. You will support the Guest Services team with financial tasks and guest service excellence while delivering a memorable guest experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of front desk hospitality experience, cash handling and POS familiarity, and strong communication skills; WA MAST certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year front desk hospitality experience preferred.
• Cash handling & POS system preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• WA MAST Certified.

Responsibilities

• Possesses a working knowledge of the front desk and handles check-in/check-out per hotel procedures.
• Proficient with Marriott management systems such as Lightspeed and GXP.
• Operates the PBX and Radio paging system as required.
• Establishes guest credit at check-in and issues room keys while orienting guests to property services.
• Manages guest issues with discretion and professionalism, escalating to management as needed.
• Follow up with guests and team members to ensure satisfaction.
• Makes restaurant, transportation, activity, or entertainment reservations for guests.
• Weekend availability is required.
