Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is seeking a Front Office Agent to greet guests, check them in and out, and provide exceptional hospitality in Tucson’s Catalina Foothills. The role emphasizes warm service, clear communication, and a proactive problem-solving approach to ensure memorable stays.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and maintain smooth front desk operations. Weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with Property Management System, Opera System preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
• Assign rooms meeting guest preferences and special requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information per hotel policy.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism and prioritize safety.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings as required.
