Job summary

EmergencyMD is seeking a Front Desk / Data Entry Specialist at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, serving as the initial contact and point of entry for the Military & Family Readiness Center. You will greet visitors, answer calls, schedule classes, and maintain TAP data with accuracy in AFFIRST and DoD systems.

You will generate routine reports, ensure data integrity, and support program awareness while upholding privacy and security standards in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience in an office or support environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Strong data entry skills with accuracy and timeliness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional service to a diverse base.
• Willingness to learn military protocols and DoD processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CAC and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary front desk contact for visitors and callers to the M&FRC.
• Answer and route incoming calls; greet customers and determine visit purpose.
• Direct clients to the appropriate staff and promote M&FRC programs.
• Schedule clients for classes, workshops, and TAP events; provide information.
• Enter and maintain client data in AFFIRST and DoD TAP systems with high accuracy.
• Generate monthly client usage and data-entry reports per management guidelines.
• Maintain front desk appearance and monitor publications and resources.
• Perform light housekeeping to uphold Air Force appearance standards.
• Protect government-furnished equipment and secure facilities at day end.
• Complete required security, IA, and DoD training.
