Job summary

Bailey Information Technology, LLC is seeking a Front Desk/Data Entry Specialist to support the Military & Family Readiness Center at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role involves greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing clients to program managers, while entering and maintaining data in Air Force systems.

The position requires 12 months of customer service experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage TAP scheduling and reminders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months' experience in a customer service or business support environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows, with basic troubleshooting.
• Experience using web-based applications (Microsoft Edge/Chrome).
• Ability to operate data entry devices/systems to input records.
• Strong verbal and written communication with a professional, customer-service orientation.
• Ability to pass a CAC background check and Information Assurance exam.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Hanscom AFB LAN access.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls, greet visitors, and determine the nature of each call or visit.
• Direct clients to the appropriate M&FRC program manager and promote programs.
• Schedule clients for M&FRC classes and workshops and provide clear information.
• Enter, update, and maintain data in AFFIRST database system.
• Input TAP data and schedule TAP classes, sending reminders.
• Maintain front desk appearance; report inoperable equipment.
• Perform light cleaning tasks to meet Air Force appearance standards.
• Ensure clients sign in; generate monthly client usage reports.
• Maintain data entry accuracy of at least 85% within 2 business days.
• Attend mandatory trainings.
• Safeguard government property and secure facilities at close.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
