Job summary

Ring Power Corporation, a Caterpillar dealer, seeks a friendly receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers entering the premises or calling in. You will greet visitors, answer phones, take messages, route them, and distribute mail.

The role requires good written and spoken English, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will support multiple departments and help maintain contact lists and schedules.

Qualifications

• Formal education: High School diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Able to understand written material and communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes.
• Must be able to understand, speak and write English and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts as first point of contact for customers and others calling or visiting.
• Greets customers and visitors and directs them accordingly.
• Answers phones promptly and takes messages.
• Routes messages to the appropriate destinations.
• Alerts departments of incoming fax messages and distributes mail daily.
• Maintains current employee address and phone list.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
