Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center seeks a friendly receptionist for our new inpatient Detox and Residential facility in Richmond, VA. You will handle clerical tasks, greet guests, answer calls, and help maintain a smooth front-desk operation.

The role requires minimum high school diploma, at least one year in treatment industry preferred, and a commitment to confidentiality. We offer generous PTO and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.
• If you are in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard clerical duties such as emailing, filing, photocopying, and transcribing.
• Greet and direct visitors and answer questions from patients and family.
• Monitor phones, voicemail, and route calls appropriately.
• Handle mail, deliveries, and shipments.
• Maintain reception area cleanliness and restock supplies.
• Maintain pharmacy copay log and record payments.
