Avenues Recovery Center is seeking an intake nurse for our newest Detox and Residential treatment facility in North Chesterfield, VA. Shift: 9am-9pm. You will manage medical intake and coordinate care across teams to ensure a smooth transition into treatment.

Qualified candidates have a one-year diploma post-high school, in-state licensure (or multi-state compact), strong communication, and a compassionate, detail-oriented approach to recovery care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school.
• Current licensure in-state or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask.
• Compassionate and dignified character aligning with recovery principles.

Responsabilités

• Manage complete medical intake process for seamless transition into treatment.
• Perform nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, scheduling, lab work).
• Coordinate pharmacy needs, dispense medication, maintain med logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure complete, timely and accurate medical documentation for each client.
