Pearl Healthcare in Rolling Meadows, IL is seeking a Receptionist to provide exceptional front-desk service and administrative support in a long-term care facility. You will answer calls, greet visitors, assist residents and families, and manage general clerical tasks while maintaining security and a professional demeanor on a fast-paced team.

This position is Sundays PRN and requires strong Microsoft Office skills and a high-school diploma.

Qualifications

• Must have high-school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to be resourceful, tactful, and proactive in dealing with issues.

Responsibilities

• Operates telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, provide information, and take messages.
• Greets all visitors and directs or escorts them to their destination.
• Assists residents, family members, employees and other visitors as needed.
• Performs general administrative tasks such as word processing and data entry.
• Maintains security by following procedures and controlling access (logbook, surveillance).
• Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondences.
• Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers.
• Report issues or concerns with residents to the Administrator.
