Position Summary:

Greets members, guests, patients; answers telephone, schedules appointments, posts charges and payments received, and performs related clerical duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Greets patients, members, and visitors (in-person or via telephone) in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
  2. Registers guests to the Wellness Center following designated procedures.
  3. Oversees paperwork for new member registration and updates existing information accurately.
  4. Executes the "End of Day" financial report and performs monetary reconciliation.
  5. Communicates effectively with coworkers to ensure smooth daily operations.

Work Contact Group: Wellness Center personnel, nurses, therapists, patients, members, visitors, and other health professionals.

Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports to: Assistant Director, Health and Wellness Center
  • Supervises: None

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum Experience: At least 1 year in member service; preferred 2 years in member service/reception
  • Licenses/Certifications: CPR/AED (must be obtained within six months of hire); First Aid preferred
  • Skills and Abilities: Experience with telephones, computers, cash handling, filing; basic fitness knowledge preferred
