Job summary

Marriott Riverside at the Convention Center in Riverside, CA is seeking a part-time Front Desk Associate to warmly greet guests, check them in/out, and assist with pre-registration and reservations. You will post charges accurately, handle cash, and ensure smooth front desk operations.

The role requires a strong work ethic, teamwork, and flexibility to cover varying shifts, including nights and weekends, to deliver memorable guest experiences in a busy hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel
• Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary
• Post all charges promptly, accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash handling including receiving cash, checks and credit card information
• Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly
• Know hotel rates, discounts and how to handle each
• Take same day reservations, cancellation procedures and relocation procedures when necessary
