Job summary

Extended Stay America in Madison, WI is seeking a Guest Services Representative to warmly welcome guests, answer phones, check in/out, and collect payments in line with company guidelines. The GSR will handle front desk paperwork, assist with reservations, manage cash and city ledger accounts, and help maintain a clean, organized lobby and breakfast area while promoting ESA services to drive bookings.

Experience in hospitality is valued; strong English communication, attention to safety

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently.
• Operate PMS and complete routine front desk tasks and audits.
• Follow safety rules, procedures and manuals.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic arithmetic and use measurements accurately.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Resolve guest issues with proactive service.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check in/out, and collect payment per guidelines.
• Complete front office daily paperwork and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Resolve guest requests through the Make it Right process with respect.
• Process reservations and manage cash, credit card and city ledger accounts.
• Maintain breakfast display and keep lobby and back desk area organized.
• Promote ESA services and convert inquiries into reservations.
• Collect guest information and identify sales opportunities.
• Conduct periodic property tours to ensure brand standards.
