Job summary

Kerzner International invites applications for a Front Desk Agent at One&Only Moonlight Basin. You will support daily Front Desk operations, handle guest arrivals and departures, and manage billing with a focus on prompt, professional service.

The role requires at least 1 year of Front Office experience in a hotel or resort, with strong communication and organizational skills, and fluency in English. Comprehensive benefits are provided for full-time, year-round employment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of Front Office experience a hotel or resort environment.
• Previous experience in guest services or customer service preferred
• Proficient in computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Opera PMS, and other hospitality applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English
• Strong organization skills, with a high attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, responding to inquiries, and resolving complaints and concerns promptly
• Uphold high service standards while actively contributing to service improvement initiatives
• Complete accurate check-in and check-out procedures, including guest registration, passport verification, room allocations, room moves, and more
• Review daily arrival lists, ensuring rooms are assigned properly, according to the booked category, guest preferences, and operational limitations
• Maintain strong knowledge of room types, rates, discounts, and inclusions
• Support the Front Office upselling program by confidently promoting appropriate room types
• Communicate guest preferences, requests, and service feedback to the appropriate departments, ensuring appropriate follow-up
• Maintain accurate guest folios, ensuring billing information is correct and current
• Follow established credit control, including processing credit card transactions, floats, and reports
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Manager, Front Office or other members of management
