Job summary

O'Daniel Automotive Group is seeking a friendly Receptionist/Cashier for its service and parts department. You will greet guests, answer phones, direct customers, and handle cash while supporting multiple teams in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to multitask. Evening and weekend availability is often required, with opportunities for growth within the Ford Family network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outgoing, positive personality with a professional appearance.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
• Cash handling experience and familiarity with 10-key is a plus.
• Prior receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and direct them to the appropriate department or team member.
• Answer and route incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Notify staff when customers arrive and assist in introductions.
• Accept payments for service and parts invoices and balance cash drawer.
• Assist in scheduling and confirming service appointments.
• Complete basic paperwork for loaner vehicles and customer documents.
• Light administrative duties: filing, typing, data entry, mail.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk/reception area.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Parts teams as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
