Job summary

DARCARS of Frederick is hiring an Automotive Service Cashier / Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the service department. You will greet customers, route inquiries, manage the switchboard, and handle basic information requests with professionalism.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and flexibility with evenings and weekends. Prior customer-service experience is preferred but not required, and employee discounts and advancement

Qualifications

• Clear and pleasant telephone communication to convey professionalism
• Excellent communication with customers and coworkers
• Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
• Strong commitment to customer service and client satisfaction
• Ability to read, understand, and convey policy documents and instructions

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine the nature of their visit
• Direct customers to the correct department
• Answer basic inquiries and route extensive inquiries to the right person
• Enter data into the prospect tracking system
• Manage the switchboard and call flows efficiently
• Distribute messages to appropriate parties in a timely manner
• Provide basic information to callers and update the company telephone roster
