Job summary

Highlandparkford is seeking an Automotive Cashier to be the welcoming face of our dealership. You will greet guests, answer phones, and support multiple departments while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include handling service and parts payments, balancing the cash drawer, and coordinating with Sales, Service, and Parts teams. Evening and Saturday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outgoing, positive personality with a professional appearance.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
• Cash handling experience; familiarity with 10-key is a plus.
• Prior receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and direct them to the appropriate department or team member
• Answer and route incoming calls promptly and courteously
• Notify staff when customers arrive and assist in making introductions
• Accept payments for service and parts invoices and accurately balance cash drawer
• Assist in scheduling and confirming service appointments
• Complete basic paperwork for loaner vehicles and customer documents
• Perform light administrative duties such as filing, typing, data entry, and handling mail
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk/reception area
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Parts teams as needed
• Other duties as assigned
