Job summary

The Inn at SentryWorld is seeking a Full-time Front Desk Attendant to deliver a warm, luxury welcome for guests and set the tone for their stay.

You will check in guests, answer questions, coordinate with housekeeping, and manage payments while balancing accounts. We value a professional, friendly, and flexible team member ready to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Positive and upbeat personality with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work nonstandard hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check-in guests, verify room rate, assign room, issue keys, provide directions.
• Explain hotel policies, services, amenities, and promotions.
• Assist guests with check-out, finalize payments and post charges to guest accounts.
• Balance all cash, credit card, and check transactions per shift.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance on room counts and requests.

As our Full-time Front Desk Attendant, we’ll count on you to create an exceptional first impression and luxury experience for all our guests

What You’ll Do

As a Front Desk Attendant, you will:

• Provide guests with a friendly and efficient check-in confirming guest information, verifying room rate, selecting room, coding electronic keys, providing welcome packet, and providing directions to room.
• Provide detailed and accurate information in person or over the phone regarding hotel policies, services, amenities, and special promotions.
• Assist guests with check-out ensuring room and services are correctly accounted and process payments and post charges to guest accounts.
• Balance all cash, credit card, and check transactions at the end of each shift.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns or complaints and communicate outstanding issues that require additional monitoring or follow-up to management in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room counts, room status, maintenance issues, and special requests.

What it Takes

• Age requirement of 21+ required
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
• Positive and upbeat personality
• Strong communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work nonstandard hours including nights, weekends and holidays
