Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah is seeking a snow removal technician to operate heavy equipment and clear base area roads and parking lots for daily operations. This overnight role is weather dependent and offers seasonal hours with potential to gain full-time hours in other areas when conditions permit.

You must be reliable, safety minded, and able to work in a team, with equipment inspections, reporting issues, and maintaining the vehicles and facilities to support mountain operations.

POSITION:

Solitude is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys the outdoors and breathtaking views of the Wasatch Mountains. The snow removal tech is an important position as they responsible for utilizing heavy equipment to clear the base area roads and parking lots of snow to allow for daily operations. This is an overnight position, dependent on weather conditions. During periods of high-pressure weather conditions, there is opportunity to acquire full time hours working in other areas, if desired.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Swing and graveyards shifts are required for this position

• Mechanical aptitude is required

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Competently perform the required vehicle and equipment inspections and servicing records
• Safely operate equipment
• Be responsive to direction and instruction during training and while performing assignments
• Provide the best product possible and concentrate on improving techniques
• Quickly and accurately report any problems with products and equipment.
• Assist mechanics or coworkers with minor repairs and equipment changes
• Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and facilities
• Exhibit professional conduct and proper radio etiquette
