The Front Desk Agent is a member of the Front Office team. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and promoting hospitality at all times.
  • Welcoming and serving guests courteously, efficiently, and friendly, both face-to-face and on the phone.
  • Demonstrating good computer skills.
  • Accurately handling cash and charges.
  • Standing for long periods.
  • Presenting a friendly, outgoing, energetic, and guest service-oriented demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities

This position involves:

  • Handling guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests.
  • Managing guest check-ins/check-outs per hotel policies.
  • Resolving customer complaints.
  • Assisting with inquiries about hotel services, events, directions, attractions, check cashing, safety boxes, etc.
  • Cancelling reservations as per procedures.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Include (not limited to)
  • Previous customer service experience required; hotel experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Guest service-oriented attitude, willing to go above and beyond.
  • Proficiency in phone and computer use.
  • Ability to read and speak English.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Bar duties experience is a plus.
