The Front Desk Agent is a member of the Front Office team. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and promoting hospitality at all times.
- Welcoming and serving guests courteously, efficiently, and friendly, both face-to-face and on the phone.
- Demonstrating good computer skills.
- Accurately handling cash and charges.
- Standing for long periods.
- Presenting a friendly, outgoing, energetic, and guest service-oriented demeanor.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position involves:
- Handling guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests.
- Managing guest check-ins/check-outs per hotel policies.
- Resolving customer complaints.
- Assisting with inquiries about hotel services, events, directions, attractions, check cashing, safety boxes, etc.
- Cancelling reservations as per procedures.
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Include (not limited to)
- Previous customer service experience required; hotel experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Guest service-oriented attitude, willing to go above and beyond.
- Proficiency in phone and computer use.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Bar duties experience is a plus.
