Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts operates Chateau Élan Winery & Resort in Georgia and seeks a friendly Front Desk Clerk. You will welcome guests, check in/out, input data, and promote HEI brands and local attractions. A strong communication skillset and cash handling are essential.

This role requires hotel experience, the ability to multitask at a busy front desk, and a professional demeanor. You may assist with currency exchanges and coordinate with rooms and services as needed.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to stand and move throughout front office and perform essential duties.
• Ability to input information using a computer system.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly welcome and provide information on hours and local attractions.
• Complete the registration process and promote HEI Hotels and Resorts programs.
• Code electronic keys and prepare welcome materials for guests.
• Verify and imprint cards, handle payments, and post charges to guest accounts.
• Process vouchers and currency exchanges as needed and balance the house bank.
• Answer and route telephone inquiries, retrieve messages, and assist with packages.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and resolve dissatisfaction when needed.
• Field guest complaints and seek effective solutions.
• Remain calm during emergencies and busy periods, applying sound judgment.
• Attend and be available for shifts as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
