Responsibilities

• Register and assign rooms to guests.
• Issue room keys and provide escort instructions as needed.
• Sort and track incoming mail and messages.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, dining, and travel directions.
• Keep record of room availability and rates.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change.
• Make, confirm, and cancel reservations via multiple channels.
• Post charges to guest bills when interfaces are unavailable.
• Arrange transportation or entertainment reservations for guests.
• Deposit guest valuables in hotel safe deposit box.
• Use office software to manage front desk tasks.
