Job Summary

The Front Desk position is a vital member of the hotel team, overseeing guest arrivals and departures and serving as an ambassador of the hotel. The front desk agent should have a good understanding of hotel operations, be able to direct guests, answer questions, and be knowledgeable about local attractions to assist with navigation and city inquiries. Additional responsibilities may be added over time.

Core Tasks and Key Responsibilities
Hospitality
  • Create a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Greet guests warmly at the front desk.
  • Recognize and welcome returning guests.
  • Maintain professionalism when communicating with guests and colleagues.
  • Report guest issues or concerns to management.
  • Multi-task efficiently to meet guest needs.
Operational Duties
  • Use hotel systems (StayNTouch, SiteMinder, Resy) to manage reservations, process payments, and update guest information.
  • Answer guest inquiries about hotel hours, events, menus, and reservations.
  • Coordinate between guests, management, and hotel staff.
  • Assist with In-Room Dining Orders.
  • Work efficiently and remain composed under pressure.
  • Arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and ready for shifts.
  • Clock in and out accurately for scheduled shifts and breaks.
