Our contemporary rooms and suites, rooftop pool, and five dining outlets provide a vibrant and hospitable experience with live music and eclectic flavors, embodying true Southern hospitality.

Job Summary

Check in and check out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements. Provide information to any guest or visitor inquiry.

Job Duties
  • Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, services, hours of operation, room types, rates, packages, promotions, and daily occupancy details.
  • Follow all hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Manage assigned bank and ensure accuracy and security of funds.
  • Coordinate with supervisor and departing colleagues on daily priorities and business status.
  • Operate computer systems according to standards, keep workstation organized, and answer phones promptly with proper etiquette.
  • Promote positive guest relations and handle requests and complaints professionally, following established procedures.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, verify reservations, and handle room assignments and guest information accurately.
  • Manage guest accounts, including incidentals, special requests, and billing disputes.
  • Maintain guest history files, communicate VIP arrivals, and ensure proper documentation of guest information and requests.
  • Handle guest complaints, messages, wake-up calls, and mail distribution efficiently.
  • Pre-register guests, prepare key packets, and communicate pertinent information to departments.
  • Generate reports, resolve discrepancies, and process cancellations and reservations.
  • Assist with group check-ins and outs, and support other departments as needed.
  • Adhere to cashiering procedures, including processing payments, making change, and balancing cash drawers.

This position is at a location where Hyatt is not the employer; employment may be managed by a third-party company responsible for employment benefits and obligations.
