Job Description

This position is responsible for anticipating guest needs, providing solutions to ensure guest satisfaction, and exceeding their expectations. Adheres to the company’s standards of quality and professionalism.

  • Anticipates and responds to guests in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Provides the highest level of service.
  • Processes check-ins and check-outs, verifies billing, creates reservations, and handles special requests.
  • Assists guests by knowing hotel property details, local attractions, and hotel outlet hours.
  • Works as a team player to meet guest needs and supports other departments when necessary.
  • Follows the company guest service recovery program.
  • Utilizes proper selling techniques to maximize room revenues.
  • Monitors room availability, adheres to booking policies, and manages restrictions.
  • Drives sales by up-selling rooms and amenities.
  • Handles cash and financial transactions following company procedures.
  • Uses equipment properly and follows cost control measures.
  • Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work to meet volume requirements.
  • Complies with company rules, department procedures, and policies.
  • Attends all required meetings.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment in compliance with regulations.
  • Adheres to procedures for guest and associate incidents.
  • Knows hotel emergency procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of guest service experience, preferably in hospitality.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, customer-focused, able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods.
