Westgate Towers Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, offers you the ideal opportunity to welcome guests to our tropically landscaped property near world-famous theme parks and help them enjoy a truly memorable vacation getaway. The resort features an array of onsite amenities and direct access to all amenities at Westgate Vacation Villas and Westgate Town Center, including the state-of-the-art Ship Wreck Island Water Park.


Job Description

As a Front Desk Agent, you are an ambassador of hospitality, ensuring that every guest's journey begins and ends with a positive and memorable impression of our resort.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests
  • Issuing room keys and providing escort instructions to Bell Staff
  • Date stamping, sorting, and racking incoming mail and messages
  • Transmitting and receiving telephone messages
  • Answering inquiries about hotel services, guest registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
  • Keeping records of room availability and guests' accounts
  • Computing bills, collecting payments, and making changes for guests
  • Creating and confirming reservations
  • Posting charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone to the ledger
  • Making restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations and arranging tours
  • Performing nightly bucket checks
  • Listening to guests and finding solutions to their problems

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule: 6pm – 2am & 11pm - 7am
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15 lbs
  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact attentively and service-oriented with team members and guests
  • Must pass background check, drug test, and verify work eligibility in the U.S.
